INTEMPO provides quality music education, using cross-cultural curriculum and program offerings that inspire young musicians to express themselves creatively and to make music an important part of their lives.
Our students build focus, self-esteem, and self-discipline, all necessary life skills that lead to improved academic performance and positive life outcomes. Our interactive workshops focus on creative cultural exchanges designed to engage students and to encourage families to play an active role in their children’s artistic journeys.

Music Programs
INTEMPO provides quality music education, using cross-cultural curriculum and program offerings that inspire young musicians to express themselves creatively and to make music an important part of their lives.
INTEMPO’s annual large-scale multicultural concert is a major initiative with a track record of excellence. We reach audiences of 1,000+ people of all ages and from all walks of life.
Every August, InTempo offers a 7-day summer camp for children ages 6 through 17. Our experienced teaching artists work with musician-campers on choral singing, recorder, minor percussion instruments, violin, viola, guitar, and charango.
At INTEMPO, we take the whole child into account. Our role in our students’ lives extends beyond their music lessons and into other aspects of their development, through family advocacy services that focus on our students’ academic and socioemotional needs.
InTempo offers a one-semester school-based introductory program, including guitar, multilingual choir, and percussion, designed to fit each student’s age, interests, and abilities.
